The huge rumor does not come true: According to Dwayne Johnson, Keanu Reeves does not join the Fast & Furious series. But there is hope.
In April, a mad rumor made the rounds. Keanu Reeves would join the Fast & Furious series in upcoming offshoot Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw. But that does not matter, as Dwayne Johnson now revealed at the MTV Awards. However, that is no reason for sadness.
Because so completely Dwayne Johnson did not rule out a future appearance of the John Wick star yet.
Dwayne Johnson reveals future of Keanu Reeves in Fast & Furious
In fact, there have even been discussions between Dwayne Johnson and Keanu Reeves regarding a role in the Fast & Furious movie Hobbs & Shaw. At least in the strip starting in August, we have to get along without Reeves:
I love Keanu. Keanu obviously has this great time in his career. We talked about it. We said, ‘Hey man, let’s make something for sure sometime in the future.’ But as for Hobbs & Shaw, not with Keanu.
The answer to the question of the Fast & Furious rumors surrounding Keanu Reeves was Dwayne Johnson’s words, “Whatever, it’s …” and a gesture that may point to the future.
In Hobbs & Shaw, Dwayne Johnson will star in Luke Hobbs’ eponymous, well-known role in the Fast & Furious franchise alongside Jason Statham’s mercenary Deckard Shaw. You can currently see Keanu Reeves in the cinema. In John Wick 3, he once again plays the title role of the dog-loving assassin.
